Today’s activities “Glacier Tour” leads us to Whittier, The western most gateway to Prince William Sound, a busy little cruise port. To access Whittier, one most travel through the Anton Anderson Memorial Tunnel. The tunnel was originally excavated in 1941-1942 by the U.S. Army to create a supply line to the interior Alaska.

Today we explored the exit Glacier. A bit of a bitter sweet moment though. Hard to believe in a couple more decades this could possibly be gone.

A coffee gem
